No. Scrib🐮 is a progressive web application (PWA). You access it through your mobile browser (Safari on iOS, Chrome on Android) and can add it to your home screen for app-like access. There is no separate app download required.
Q: Are push notifications available on all devices?
Push notifications are available on Android devices and on iOS 16.4 and later (when the Scrib🐮 PWA is added to your home screen). For earlier iOS versions, deadline alerts are delivered by email instead.
Q: Is the mobile interface secure for sensitive documents?
Yes. The mobile interface uses the same authentication and encryption as the desktop version. Session tokens expire after inactivity (configurable; default 30 minutes on mobile, 8 hours on desktop). Biometric authentication (Face ID, fingerprint) is supported on devices with those capabilities.
