Every company has an annual compliance calendar whether it knows it or not. Confirmation Statements, annual accounts approval, director confirmations, franchise tax filings — the list is different in every jurisdiction and the consequences of missing any item range from fines to involuntary dissolution. Scrib🐮's M5 Dashboard gives you the tools to manage this without legal expertise.
Annual compliance for a multi-country business is not a single event but a rolling series of obligations on different calendars. A company incorporated in the UK has a Confirmation Statement due annually. The same group's Australian entity has an annual review fee due on its anniversary. The French SAS must call a shareholders' meeting and approve accounts within 6 months of year-end. The Delaware LLC must pay franchise tax by 1 March each year and file its annual report. The Canadian CBCA company has an Annual Return due 60 days after the anniversary of its certificate of incorporation.
Employment obligations add more: Fair Work Information Statement must be given to every new employee in Australia; UK employers must re-enrol employees in pension auto-enrolment every 3 years; French employers must conduct annual professional interviews (entretien professionnel) and a 6-yearly assessment.
Lease compliance adds further layers: annual rent review calculations, service charge reconciliation deadlines, landlord certification renewals (EPC, EICR in the UK).
Most businesses manage this with a mix of accountant reminders, calendar entries, and hope. Gaps are inevitable.

Q: Does the tracker send reminders to our accountant?
You can add external email addresses (including your accountant's) as notification recipients for any compliance item. They receive the same deadline alerts as your internal team.
Q: What if our financial year-end is not 31 December?
The tracker uses your actual financial year-end date, entered during setup. All accounts-related compliance deadlines (French AGM, Bolagsverket annual accounts, UK accounts filing) calculate from your actual year-end.
Q: Can I mark an item as 'handled by third party'?
Yes. Compliance items can be flagged as delegated (with a note identifying who is responsible). Delegated items still appear in your tracker but are visually distinguished so you know to expect external confirmation rather than action internally.
